Did you hear that Feb. 14th is Caring And Friendship Day?
WTF?! Since when has Valentine's Day changed names? Is this just something some weirdo at Treehouse has implemented or have schools done away with Jolly Old St. Valentine and implemented a sustainable action plan on caring and/or friendship?
What next? Easter will be known as Chocolate Omelette And Sacrifice Day? Christmas will henceforth be known as Present And Fat Guy Appreciation Day?
I hate when people rename holidays, esp. when they're basically secular celebrations these days. If it's not Valentine's Day because of the ties to the ancient church, I'm even more annoyed. I can understand if it's Friendship & Caring Day because of the connotations of love usually implied (esp. for small kids) but even there it's pretty lame.
