Now that's a deal!

I went out today to go tubing with Tim, my brother-in-law but alas, the tube hill was closed at Glen Eden.

So we wandered over to the nearby Rogers to see what the land of Pre-Owned stuff had for us. As luck would have it, they had Season 2 of 24 for $38 for the whole series. Given that it's retailing for about $70 or so new, that's quite the deal. I also had just received $25 in cash in the mail from that Canadian Tire survey I did way back when.

After they rang up the DVD's it only came to $34, so at the end of my story, it only cost me $9 (out of pocket) for Season 2 of 24 on DVD. Not too shabby, if I do say so myself. Much better than frittering away the $25 on coffees at Tim Hortons over the next few weeks...
