Did anyone else catch the unravelling of Kevin Newman on tonight's Global National newscast? About 3 stories in, something obviously was happening between the teleprompter that Kevin was reading, the blather going into his earpiece and the miscellaneous bits of paper he kept shuffling around on his desk. He must have spent 5 minutes trying to sort out the confusion, all the while attempting to keep his professional demeanour. The looks of death he was shooting at the poor folk in the control room were priceless.
He also actually addressed the control room ON THE AIR, which I've never seen happen on any newscast, ever.
