Happy Birthday Garrett! Watch out for falling tree limbs!
Our idiotic neighbours, they of the yappy dog and questionable lung capacity, have obviously talked the condo board into cutting down the nice big tree that has provided shade to our back yard since we moved in. We were just sitting down for our birthday breakfast of pancakes and juice this morning when we noticed some branches wobbling around. A quick survey of the yard revealed that the condo board members were outside cutting down the tree. Sadly, it's in the neighbour's yard and merely overhangs our yard, but it is (was) a nice big tree. It could have used a bit of a pruning of the lower branches, no arguement there. Chopping the whole majestic thing down, on the other hand... That's just stupid!
But these are the same people who almost dropped a big tree limb on Garrett's head a few weeks back and had the gall to be snippy about it. Maybe they'll have the trunk fall and land on them later on.
Of all the days to do it though. We've got people coming over in the afternoon and it's going to be a sunny day and we kind of rely on that tree for shade. Grr..
