EB's getting a new return policy as of March 12. No returns of opened software. Only trade-ins...

Though I guess if it's defective they'll take it back, but to me it bites. Not that I return a lot, but I think that the way they have it now is great, at least for console games. For PC games, sure, if it's open, then tough.

If I'm dropping $90 or so for a console game though, it had better be damned good. The nice thing about the EB policy is that at least I get one chance with my dud purchase to redeem myself. Then if I get a crappy game, it's my own fault the second time.

Oh well. I wonder if they'll see their preorders drop now that you can't take an overhyped game back if it sucks.
