Oh, and I hate it when people use the term 'dialoguing' or 'dialogue' to replace the word talk.

"We were having problems out East. We need to sit down and start dialoguing or we'll never solve our problems."

Why on earth do they not say talking rather than dialoguing? I hate jargon. At least meaningless jargon. I guess saying that they need to sit down and talk their problems through wouldn't sound as portentious.
