If A Tree Lands On A Violinist, Does It Make Radio 2 Listeners Cry?

This is an awesome story about one of the world's best violinists busking in a busy Washington D.C. metro stop. The story is about how art is appreciated and whether the average person will recognize great music out of the usual context of a concert hall.

It's a very interesting read and, once again, something I found over at the incomparable Dubious Quality.
